TruckSafe is a recognised Quality System designed by and specific to the Trucking Industry.  It is recognised by the Queensland Government and large Prime Contractors when Quality Assurance is a prerequisite for tendering processes and/or service delivery.

Many larger Prime Contractors, Freight Customers and Insurance Companies are now requesting Transport Operators implement a Risk Management/Business Management system in order to cover  due diligence under the Chain of Responsibility Law, OH & S regulations and Road Regulations.

Industry partners, including the project sponsors are supporting the programme by the development of incentive packages to reward operators for their professionalism. The following are examples of such incentives

• Vehicle Insurance

• WorkCover best practice

• Medical/Employment Insurance Packages

• Government recognition linked to Regulatory benefits i.e.) NHVAS Maintenance Scheme.
