The DigiT&L Futures program is a new initiative lead by the QTA. The program aims to assist industries impacted by digital disruption by supporting a transition and adoption of new practices by existing workers.

The program will support industry through the provision of training to address specific skill needs and new software applications. The project will support the current workforce development needs of transport and logistics operators in cities and regional areas across Queensland. The DIGIT&L FUTURES Program will be delivered over the next twelve months and include the following projects:

WHEN: August 2018- AUGUST 2019

  1. DIGIT&L FUTURES (Excel Skills)
Support for existing workers to upskill and build their knowledge and competency in understanding Microsoft Suite programs such as Excel. The training will be delivered by TAFE Queensland to improve levels of computer awareness and computer-based problem solving, drive business productivity and efficiency and increase user confidence and self-esteem in digital and computer literacy.
