DigiT&L Futures - Telematics Training

DigiT&L Futures Telematics Training will provide support for existing workers in the transport and logistics industry (across all sectors) in Queensland, in understanding the effective use of telematics in managing owner-driver or multiple vehicle fleets.


 

Training will provide road transport operators with:

 

  • a deeper understanding of how to use telematics to drive efficiency, productivity and safety outcomes
  • practical training on how to program in-vehicle navigation systems to suit their business
  • scenario-based examples of how to apply and use telematics data to improve productivity and fleet management
  • insights into future regulatory compliance requirements (eg. electronic work diaries) and how they can be managed using telematics solutions

 

Telematics and related technologies drive business efficiency and safety outcomes by:

 

  • reduced accident/incident rates
  • understanding how telematics can support current and future regulatory compliance
  • reduced paperwork
  • reductions in fleet operating costs
  • greater productivity

This program is open to existing employees within the Transport & Logistics industry in Queeensland, including Road Transport, Passenger Transport, Logistics, Maritime, Rail and Aviation. 


 

To be eligible you are:

 

  • an existing worker in the Transport & Logistics industry in QLD
  • aged 15 years of age or over, and no longer at school
  • permanently residing in Queensland
  • not an employee of government departments or agencies
  • not an apprentice or trainee
