The QTA continually negotiates and lobbies all levels of Government and prepares input to positively influence legislation and regulations that may impact upon our members and in particular our industry. QTA Ltd also represents the Industry before Commissions and advises members on a wide range of Industrial Relations issues.

Representing members in disputes or negotiations with Trade Unions (i.e. Transport Workers Union, CFMEU etc)
Representing transport industry employers within all Industrial Tribunals including the Fair Work Commission and Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal.
Developing employer policy on wages and employment conditions
Monitoring current industrial relations issues and their impact on industry
Advising employer members on their rights and obligations under Federal and State legislation
Providing current information on conditions of employment, wage rates, modern award details etc
Educating members on all aspects of employment law
