Prepare your workplace for Queensland’s impending criminal offence

Following the tragic incidents at Eagle Farm and Dreamworld last year, and a subsequent independent review, the Queensland Government has announced it will introduce a new criminal work health and safety offence—negligence causing death.

Join Sparke Helmore Partner Matthew Smith as he examines:

  • what the offence is expected to look like
  • how organisations can protect their employees
  • how individuals should prepare for the introduction of the WHS offence, and
  • the foreseeable future of the regulatory landscape in Queensland.

The seminar will commence with registration and a light breakfast from 7am with the seminar to commence at 7:30am to 9am.

Numbers are limited.  Open to Members and Non-Members.
