Who is the QTA?  We are Queensland's trusted road freight industry association providing services to businesses involved in delivering freight, supplies, products and services to the local area as well as around Queensland and interstate.   

Why attend this training?  This evening workshop will give you the'HOWto do business better and will include two topics:

Finding Flexibility in Fatigue Management and Managing Fatigue Risk 

This session is a follow-up session from our "Putting it on Paper" Chain of Responsibility Workshops in 2018.  This sessions will focus on Fatigue Risk Management and will help find the answer to how you can effectively manage driving hours and fatigue risk in your business.   This session will breakdown the myths surrounding advanced fatigue management and guide you through the process and options available to best fit your business and the specific freight tasks in your business.

Employment Relations: Managing People, Awards & Performance

Delivered by Karen Bow, our experienced Employment Relations Manager. this session will deliver ER and IR advice specific to the road transport sector.  Get equipped with the correct information on performance management procedures, understanding Modern Awards, casual pay rates and termination of employment processes.  Be informed by a trusted provider in the transport industrial relations area.
