QLD-Freight Protocol Revoked from 1am Saturday 15 January

Update from TMR Heavy Vehicle Unit

COVID-19 | Revoked - Border Restrictions Direction and Queensland Freight Protocol

From 1am AEST Saturday 15 January 2022

Queensland's domestic borders restrictions will be lifted, which means that Queensland border checkpoints will no longer be in operation.

From 1am AEST 15 January 2022, the Border Restrictions Direction will be revoked and the Queensland Freight Protocol will no longer apply.

Freight and logistics operators entering Queensland from another state or territory will no longer be required to produce:

  • an F Pass
  • negative COVID-19 test result
  • proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
  • written records of contacts

We know a lot has been asked of the freight and logistics industry to date and we’re grateful to you for your continued efforts to keep the supply chains moving, support the safe movement of freight and ensuring that Queenslanders and our communities stay connected to essential goods and services.

Testing Sites

The four temporary dedicated freight and logistics testing locations continue to operate at Boondall, Charlton, Goondiwindi and Port of Brisbane.

These locations will provide PCR testing only.
