Australian Industry Standards – Fatigue Management Project
Draft Fatigue Risk Management Units for Consultation

As reported previously, this Fatigue Management Project is in relation to reviewing the Fatigue Training Units of competency for Fatigue Management Accreditation.

The Fatigue Management Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), in conjunction with NHVR and AIS, have developed three new DRAFT units of competency to meet Fatigue accreditation requirements of the HVNL.

Job roles covered by the new units will include drivers, schedulers, supervisors, managers and business owners.

The project was approved by the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) and is expected to be submitted for endorsement by 31st March 2017.

Update:  The Fatigue Management Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) have completed the first draft of the 3 units of competency to meet fatigue management accreditation requirements.

The units have been reviewed by NHVR and are now available for industry and public comment.
