In partnership with Daimler Trucks and Bus Australia, the Queensland Trucking Association Ltd are proud to offer a Scholarship Program to emerging leaders in our trucking industry.
Queensland Trucking Association Ltd CEO, Gary Mahon announced today “We are extremely pleased to announce a newly formed partnership with Daimler Truck and Bus Australia and the establishment of the QTA/Daimler Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program. This program will identify potential leadership talent and provide opportunities to cultivate leadership capability within the industry.” Mr Mahon said.
“The establishment of this partnership with Daimler Truck and Bus Australia, affirms our joint commitment to the next generation of industry leaders who will contribute to the future prosperity of the industry.” said Mr Mahon.
Daimler Truck and Bus Australia President and CEO, Daniel Whitehead says the company is thrilled to back the scholarship program. “Daimler Truck and Bus is passionate about making the transport industry a destination industry for the best and the brightest young Australians,” Mr Whitehead says.
“The Australian transport industry can provide wonderful and fulfilling career opportunities for young people and Daimler Truck and Bus is proud to support the Queensland Trucking Association and its exciting scholarship program that aims to further develop emerging talent,” he says.
The program is open to applicants aged 21+ and is about identifying emerging leaders in the industry, developing their capability to contribute to the productivity, efficiency and safety of their employer/business to lead them into the future.
