This year’s ride will see 140 riders in 7 groups, each with front and rear support cars. The ride is supported by Police and Main Roads permits. There may be disruptions to the flow of traffic on the Bruce Highway for some periods of these three days. Where possible, the ride takes roads off the highway.
To help planning, could you please let your drivers know that we will be on the road throughout the times detailed below:
Thursday 23rd
Leave Townsville (7:15am) to Ingham (by 1pm)
On Bruce Highway
Friday 24th
Leave Ingham (6:20am) to Innisfail (by 5pm)
Bruce Highway Ingham to Tully
After Tully (~12.30pm) most of the ride will be off the Bruce Highway - Via Old Tully Road to El Arish, Silkwood to Innisfail via Paronella Park
Saturday 25th
Leave Innisfail (7:30am) to Cairns (by 1:30pm)
Innisfail to Miriwinni via Eubenangee (off the Highway - Dinner Creek and Brampton Beach Roads)
Miriwinni to Carins via the Bruce Highway
