The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises that on Tuesday 2 June to Thursday 4 June 2026 and Sunday 14 June to Monday 15 June 2026, Asphalt resurfacing is occurring on the Bruce Highway (10G) at the intersection of Schmidtkes Road Ooralea, and Farrellys Road, Paget.
When
- Between Tuesday 2 June to Thursday 4 June 2026 from 7.00pm – 5.00am.
- From 7.00pm Sunday 14 June to 5.00am Monday 15 June 2026
What to expect
During works hours, all vehicles 5 metres or wider travelling through the intersection Bruce Highway (10G) at the intersection of Schmidtkes Road Ooralea, and Farrellys Road, Paget, are required to give 24 hours’ notice to project managers.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in delays to access through the worksite during working hours.
Oversize Overmass (OSOM) vehicles can travel outside of working hours as per normal.
