The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises that geotechnical investigation works will be undertaken on the Bruce Highway at Ollera Creek.

Works will occur from:

  • Tuesday 26 May 2026 to Friday 17 July 2026

  • 6am to 6pm
  • Monday to Sunday

All works are subject to site and weather conditions, contractor availability and construction progress.

What to expect during the works

Road users are asked to drive carefully through the roadwork sites and follow the directions of traffic controllers and changed traffic conditions.

Road users can expect:

  • a shoulder closure in the north bound lane
  • partial lane impacts associated with shoulder works
  • a reduced speed limit of 60km/hr during construction
  • minor delays
  • advance warning signs will be in place on approaches to the work area, notifying road users of the changed conditions.

All property accesses will be maintained throughout the works.

TMR thanks motorists for their patience and understanding during these works.
