NSW: Changed traffic conditions on Olympic Hwy at Culcairn

Changed traffic conditions will be in place northbound on the Olympic Highway at Balfour Street, Culcairn, due to works by Essential Energy.  

When

Work will take place on Monday 7 September, between 8am and 4pm.

Motorists are advised to expect a northbound closure of up to two-hours during the work period. 

What to expect 

During the closure, OSOM vehicles will be assisted through the work site. Drivers will be required to park up and follow instructions displayed on the variable message signs to contact traffic control.

All other vehicles will be detoured via Railway Parade and will re-join the Olympic Highway via Baird Street. Traffic controllers will be on site to direct motorists.

Motorists are advised to allow up to 10 minutes of additional travel time.

Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
