NSW: Changed traffic conditions on Olympic Hwy at Young

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Olympic Highway due to bridge works over Burrangong Creek at Young.  

When

Single lane closures will be in place in both directions from Tuesday 15 September between 6am and 5pm for about eight weeks. 

What to expect 

Oversize and overmass (OSOM) vehicles wider than 4.5 metres are required to pull over at designated areas, and contact traffic control for access through the site. Electronic signage will be in place to guide drivers at the pull-over areas.

Please note: Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1,2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route.

Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
