The official Queensland state launch of National Skills Week 2019 will take place on Monday 26th August 2019 at PWC Brisbane, Level 23, 480 Queen Street, Brisbane City at 6pm.

National Skills Week sets out to bring to life the positive messages, highlighting the talents, the skills, the career pathways and the value of apprentices and trainees across Australia to the wider public and employers. The week is dedicated to raising the status of practical and vocational learning.

The Cummins TMC Scholarship is an initiative that provides heavy vehicle apprentices with the experience and tools needed to develop industry knowledge and skills.

SkillsOne has been taking their Skills and Thrills Showcase around NSW, presenting VET information and options to students and parents.
Requests are now being taken for 2019-2020 Showcase locations. There is also a Skills and Thrills portal on the SkillsOne website which provides information on the student and parent showcases and up to date video content promoting vocational education and training. Click here to see more.
