AVI 3D Computed Tomography Scanning - The Australian Industry & Skills Committee has approved the Aviation Training Package (Release 6.0) for referral to the COAG Skills Council for endorsement.

MAR Compass Adjuster - Draft materials available for comment, closing Wednesday 15 July 2020.
The Case for Endorsement and draft training package materials have been submitted to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee for their consideration, for the Network Fault Support, Passenger Train Guard and Train & Network Control Operations Review projects.

Transport & Logistics Training Package Release 6.0 - The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Skills Council has endorsed the Transport & Logistics Training Package (Release 6.0). Training materials are available on training.gov.au. This package included updates to:
The Small Business Skills Hub has been developed by GO1.com with support from the Queensland Government to deliver free online training and learning opportunities for COVID-19 impacted small businesses with less than 20 staff and a registered ABN.
Short courses are available covering everything from IT skills through to sales and marketing and leadership skills, including:
- Foundation business skills
- Leading a successful business
- Connecting business and customer
- Digital skills and adapting to change

The Skills Focus Queensland training hub has been developed by GO1.com with support from the Queensland Government to deliver free online training and learning opportunities for eligible Queensland residents impacted by COVID-19.
Courses cover a wide range of topics, including:
- IT Skills – Block Chain, Office Skills (Work, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Accounting and financial skills
- Sales and marketing skills
These are non-accredited short courses and will be made available through to the end of 2020.

Get BUSY Trucking - Diesel Mechanics is a course for women providing the skills and confidence that can lead to a career in the Transport/Automotive industry.
The course is delivered by Busy At Work and is funded under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program, supported by the Queensland Government.
Training starts on 13th July 2020 at the TAFE Qld South West Campus - Ipswich.

The Productivity Commission has been tasked with examining how well the Australian, State and Territory governments have achieved their goals for the vocational education and training (VET) system as set out in the National Agreement for Skills and Workforce Development, and the suitability of this agreement for the future.
The Commission has released an interim report and is inviting feedback via written submissions, closing Friday 17 July 2020.
