CQ: North of Yaamba | Bruce Highway (Rockhampton - St Lawrence) | Roadworks

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises that roadworks are underway on the Bruce Highway, approximately 6 kilometres north of Yaamba.

The work will take place between 6am and 6pm and is expected to be completed mid-2025.

The Bruce Highway will be reduced to a single lane with traffic control and speed restrictions in place 24/7 for the duration of the works.

Motorists may experience short delays and are reminded to observe all warning signs, speed restrictions and traffic control directions when travelling through the roadworks zone.

Heavy vehicle operators requiring permits are encouraged to refer to the Conditions of Operations Database prior to their journey.

Any vehicle with a load of more than 4 metres ground contact width MUST be raised to a minimum of 1.2 metres high to clear the bollards. Operators to contact Brendan Crampton via email Brendan.w.crampton@tmr.qld.gov.au at least 7 days prior to travel.
