CQ-Rockhampton-Bruce Hwy (Yaamba Rd) and Rockhampton-Yeppoon Rd | Road Closures 20-23.6.25
TMR advises various road closures, lane closures and detours will be required on the Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) and Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road from 4pm Friday 20 June until 6am Monday 23 June 2025.
This will enable final asphalting of the Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) and Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road intersection to be completed as part of the Rockhampton Ring Road construction.
- From 4pm Friday 20 June until 6pm Saturday 21 June, Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) northbound turn to Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road and Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) southbound turn into local business and emergency services precinct will be closed. Detours will be in place [Refer to Map 1]
- From 6pm Saturday 21 June until 6am Sunday 22 June, Local businesses and emergency services entrance and exit from Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) will be detoured through the construction site [Refer to Map 2].
- From 6am Sunday 22 June until 6am Monday 23 June 2025, Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road westbound from Norman Road to the intersection, Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) northbound turn into local businesses and emergency services precinct and Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) northbound turn to Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road will be closed. Detours will be in place [Refer to Map 3].
Map 1 - Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) northbound turn to Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road eastbound and Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) southbound turn into local business and emergency services precinct will be closed.
Map 2 - Local businesses and emergency services entrance and exit from Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) will be detoured through the construction site.
Map 3 - Closure of Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road westbound from Norman Road to the intersection, Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) northbound turn to Rockhampton Yeppoon Road detour and Bruce Highway (Yaamba Road) northbound turn into local businesses and emergency services precinct.
