Night Works Notice
There are no scheduled night closures for the month of October.
From Monday 27 October 2025 until early-December asphalt repairs on sections of road between Ellis Beach and the southern end of Wangetti Beach will require night works.
Road users can expect delays at night works between 6 pm and 6 am.
- We ask road users to plan their journeys in advance as TMR anticipates delays of up to 30 minutes in instances where extended holds are required at night works traffic control points.
- Traffic will be released at every safe and convenient opportunity to minimise delays where possible.
These extended holds are being implemented as an alternative to full road closures to balance progress of reconstruction while allowing motorists access on the highway.
Traffic control changes
- The long-term single lane traffic control 2.5 kilometres south of Oak Beach will be shortened in the coming weeks, pending weather and site conditions.
- Single lane traffic control will be implemented along a section of road north of Ellis Beach as works progress along this section of the highway.
