FNQ: Kuranda Range Road (Kennedy Highway, Cairns - Mareeba)

Temporary lane closure

Road users are advised an additional, temporary lane closure will be present on Kuranda Range Road.

The single lane section will be in place 9 am to 3 pm - Tuesday 28 October and Wednesday 29 October 2025.

Traffic control measures will be in place about one kilometre down the range from Streets Creek (towards Smithfield) for the completion of surveying works.

Road users are reminded to obey all signage for their own safety and for the safety of other road users. 

Drive to changed road conditions – speed limits are in place for everyone’s safety.
