NSW: Changed conditions on Moss Vale Road at Cambewarra Mountain and Barrengarry

Day time closures will take place on Moss Vale Road at Cambewarra Mountain and Barrengarry in early December, for urgent maintenance works.

Moss Vale Road will be closed between Barfield Road and Kangaroo Valley Road at Cambewarra Mountain  between 9am and 3pm on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 December 2025.

Moss Vale Road will be closed between Bunkers Hill Road and Myra Vale Road at Barrengarry between 9am and 3pm on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 December 2025.

Vehicles longer than 7.5 metres, wider than 3.3 metres or heavier than 12 tonnes will be detoured via the Illawarra Highway and Princes Highway, adding 90 minutes of extra travel time.  Please note Macquarie Pass is only suitable for PBS Level 1 vehicles.

The 23 tonne load limit on Hampden Bridge at Kangaroo Valley remains in place.

Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
