NSW: Changed traffic conditions along the M7 Motorway at Horsley Park, Middleton Grange and Prestons

There will be temporary northbound full closures for Oversize Overmass (OSOM) and Class 2 vehicles on the M7 Motorway at Horsley Park, Middleton Grange and Prestons on Friday 14 and 21 November, weather permitting.
Contingency dates for this work will be on Friday 5 and 12 December.
Work will take place on the M7 Motorway at the following locations between 9pm and 5am:
- Between Cowpasture Road and The Horsley Drive: Northbound full closure on Friday 14 November
OSOM and Class 2 vehicles travelling under notice in the northbound direction will be detoured either via Cowpasture Road and The Horsley Drive or Cowpasture Road, Elizabeth Drive and Wallgrove Road

- Between Camden Valley Way and Bernera Road: Northbound full closure on Friday 21 November.
OSOM and Class 2 vehicles travelling under notice in the northbound direction between South Western Freeway and Cowpasture Road will be detoured:
- Eastbound through Camden Valley Way, Hume Highway, Hoxton Park Road and Cowpasture Road
- Westbound through Camden Valley Way and Cowpasture Road
Vehicles travelling westbound from the M5 Motorway may use:
- Beech Road, then eastbound through Hume Highway, Hoxton Park Road and Cowpasture Road
- Beech Road, then westbound through Camden Valley Way and Cowpasture Road.

OSOM vehicles operating under the National Class 1 Load Carrying Vehicles Mass and/or Dimension Exemption Notices can use the available detours if they are suitable for their combination. Operators are reminded that under Schedule 8 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation (NSW), there is a requirement for the driver and operator to scope the proposed route prior to travel to ensure it is suitable for their vehicle.
Vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in their permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
