NSW: Changed traffic conditions Hume Highway at Marulan
Source: Transport for NSW (01.05.2025)
Changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Hume Highway at Marulan from Monday 5 May to Friday 23 May, due to road repairs.
Northbound traffic will be diverted onto southbound lanes under contraflow traffic arrangements 24 hours a day until the work is complete.
Drivers of vehicles wider than 4.5 metres will be required to use the designated pull-over areas on approach to the site and contact traffic control on UHF 21 to arrange access through the work area.
Vehicles weighing more than 5 tonnes will need to use Brayton Road and George Street to access the Hume Highway.
Other potential impacts for freight operators include:
- Access to Gunlake quarry via Red Hills Road and the Hume Highway will be maintained in both directions at all times under the direction of traffic control.
- The northbound heavy vehicle safety station at Marulan will be closed during this work, except for prescheduled safety checks from Monday 12 to Friday 16 May.
- The Logbook Hill northbound heavy vehicle rest area will be closed during this work.
