NSW: Changed traffic conditions on the M7 Motorway northbound in Prestons

There will be changed traffic conditions along the M7 Motorway northbound near Maxwells Creek, between Kurrajong and Bernera Roads in Prestons between 8pm Thursday 17 and 3am Saturday 19 April, weather permitting. Contingency dates are from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 May.
Oversize Overmass (OSOM) vehicles under notice travelling along Hume Highway will be detoured via Camden Valley Way and Cowpasture Road or if travelling along the M5 will be detoured via Hume Highway, Hoxton Park and Cowpasture Roads.
Class 2 vehicles will not be detoured and will remain on the M7 Motorway.
Vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in their permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
Work location
OSOM vehicles operating under the Multi-State Class 1 Load Carrying Vehicles Mass and/or Dimension Exemption Notices can use the available detours if they are suitable for their combination. Operators are reminded that under Schedule 8 of the Heavy Vehicle (Mass, Dimension and Loading) National Regulation (NSW), there is a requirement for the driver and operator to scope the proposed route prior to travel to ensure it is suitable for their combination.
