NSW: Changes to the NSW Load Declaration Requirements
Source: Transport for NSW
Transport for NSW recently advised of some changes to the NSW Load Declaration requirements resulting in changes to the Transport for NSW website Oversize and/or overmass (OSOM) vehicles and loads | Transport for NSW.
This change is now in effect, and the NSW Load Declaration form has been removed from the website.
A signed measurement record is still needed as a condition of access, and the recording of this information is at the discretion of each Operator.
Operators must continue to produce a signed measurement record, which must be signed by the operator, the person who took the measurements and the driver. The record must capture, the actual height, width and length of the vehicle and load together prior to the load moving and it must be presented to a police officer or an authorised officer on request.
For further information or enquiries relating to this change operators should contact NSW Police via the details below.
