NSW Flooding Impacts - Castlereagh Highway between Capertee and Ben Bullen will be closed tomorrow 13/10/22

Castlereagh Highway between Capertee and Ben Bullen will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 13 October from 7am to 3pm. The closure is needed for recovery of a fallen high voltage power pole.
- Detour for vehicles over 19m in length travelling between Mudgee and Marangaroo divert via Wellington, Molong, Orange and Bathurst in both directions. This will add about 2hr and 20min additional travel time.
- Detour for vehicles up to 19m in length will be via Bathurst using Sofala Rd and Great Western Highway in both directions. This will add about 40min additional travel time.
As of 12pm, Wednesday 12 October:
Lachlan Valley Way closed between Forbes and Cowra - Traffic diverted via Newell Hwy and Mid-Western Hwy in both directions adding about 45mins
Oxley Highway closed between Warren and Collie
- Eastbound traffic diversion: Oxley Hwy to Nevertire, Mitchell Hwy to Dubbo, Newell Hwy to Gilgandra.
- Westbound traffic diversion: Newell Hwy to Dubbo, Mitchell Highway to Nevertire to the Oxley Highway.
This diversion will add about 80mins
Kamilaroi Hwy between Walgett and Bourke - Traffic diverted via Mitchell Hwy to Dubbo, Newell Hwy to Gilgandra, Castlereagh Hwy to Walgett adding about 5hrs.
Kamilaroi Hwy between Narrabri and Wee Waa - Traffic diverted via Gwydir Hwy and Newell Hwy adding about 90mins
Carnarvon Hwy between Garah and Weemalah - Traffic travelling to QLD diverted through Goondawindi via Newell Hwy then Barwon Hwy adding about 80mins
The Escort Way between Forbes and Eugowra - Traffic diverted via Newell Hwy and Parkes-Eugowra Rd adding about 30mins
Lachlan Valley Way between Cowra and Morongla is now OPEN
