NSW: Have your say consultation - Mount Ousley safety and reliability Improvements

Source: Transport for NSW

Transport for NSW (Transport) is investigating options to improve the safety, reliability and resilience of the M1 Princes Motorway between Picton Road and the Mount Ousley interchange at the base of Mount Ousley.

Transport is currently in the early stages of investigating options to improve the safety, reliability and resilience of a five-kilometre section of the M1 Princes Motorway between Picton Road and the base of Mount Ousley.

This section of the motorway through Mount Pleasant and Mount Ousley carries about 55,000 vehicles per day and is currently subject to traffic congestion, particularly during weekday peak periods and weekend/holiday peaks.

The project forms a missing link between other upgrades on the corridor, the Mount Ousley interchange (under construction) and the Picton Road upgrade (in planning).

For more information on the project view our latest community update.

Have your say

Transport is seeking feedback on your experiences travelling along and accessing the M1 Princes Motorway between Picton Road and the Mount Ousley interchange at the base of Mount Ousley.

Gathering your feedback early in the process will help us to better understand the current environment and guide the development of potential solutions as we move through the planning stages.

This section of the M1 Princes Motorway is a key freight corridor and feedback from the freight industry will play an important role in the project’s development. Your insights will help us understand experiences and key concerns of the freight industry travelling on this section of the motorway.

You can provide your feedback in the link below.
