NSW: Lifting of temporary reduced load limit for heavy vehicles on Paytens Bridge south-west of Eugowra
Source: Transport for NSW (17.07.2025)
From Monday 21 July, the temporary 23 tonne heavy vehicle load limit will be lifted, returning to 42.5 tonnes on Paytens Bridge, 11 kilometres south-west of Eugowra. This follows the successful completion of essential bridge strengthening works.
While the load limit is returning to 42.5 tonnes, the three metre reduced lane width is ongoing. Vehicles over three metres wide travelling between Eugowra and Lachlan Valley Way will not be able to use Paytens Bridge Road and will need to detour via Casuarina Drive to Gooloogong. Please allow 30 minutes extra travel time.
Detour route for vehicles over three metres wide
