NSW: Temporary closure on Carter Street, Lidcombe

There will be a temporary closure on Carter Street at the intersection with Hill Road at Lidcombe for three nights between Monday 29 September and Wednesday 1 October, 8pm to 5am, weather permitting. 

There will be no access to Carter Street from the M4 Motorway off ramp. 

All heavy vehicles will be redirected via two suggested detour routes:

• access Carter Street from Hill Road: use Holker Street, Silverwater Road, Parramatta Road and Birnie Avenue
• access Hill Road from Carter Street: use Uhrig Road, Edwin Flack Avenue, Birnie Avenue and Parramatta Road. 

These detours will add between 11 to 15 minutes additional travel time.
