NSw: Temporary road closures in Sydney CBD

There will be temporary road closures in various locations across Sydney CBD on Friday 12 September, due to a parade.
Road closures will be in place at the following times and locations:
Macquarie Street
- 10am to 11.30am: closed between St James Road and Albert Street. Access to Macquarie Street north of Albert Street for drop-off/pick-up and to and from the Sydney Opera House car park is available via Albert Street until 10.45am. From 10.45am, Macquarie Street between Albert Street and Sydney Opera House roundabout will close until 11.30am
Detour via Elizabeth and Phillip streets to travel north and south through the city.
Cahill Expressway
- 10.30am to 11.30am: closure of Cahill Expressway on and off ramps, Conservatorium Road and a section of Bridge Street. The Cahill Expressway Circular Quay overpass will remain open in both directions with access via the Domain Tunnel (height clearance of 4.4 metres)
Over height vehicles travelling south on Sydney Harbour Bridge are required to detour via York Street or the Western Distributor. Oversize & dangerous goods vehicles travelling southbound on the Sydney Harbour Bridge will be detoured via the CBD (York Street) or the Western Distributor while the Cahill Expressway on and off ramps at Macquarie Street are closed.
From the city, access the Eastern Distributor (height limit 4.4 metres; no dangerous goods) via York, King, Elizabeth, Park and William streets to the Bourke Street on-ramp.
Vehicles not carrying dangerous goods can use the Sydney Harbour Tunnel (height limit 4.4 metres), which remains open in both directions during the event.
Shakespeare Place and Bent Street
- 10.30am to 11.30am: closure of Shakespeare Place and a section of Bent Street. There will be no access between the Eastern Distributor and Macquarie Street
Detour via William and Park streets to travel east and west through the city.
Hunter Street and Phillip Lane
- 10am to 11:30am: closure of sections of Hunter Street and Phillip Lane
Phillip Lane will remain open with entry only available from the southern end off Phillip Street. Vehicles can exit Phillip Lane via the southern end, or continue north and exit via the northern end back onto Phillip Street under a temporary traffic arrangement. There will be no access to Macquarie Street from Phillip Lane.
