NSW Traffic alert: Changed traffic conditions on Bernera Road at Prestons

There will be changed traffic conditions on Bernera Road in Prestons between 9pm Thursday 13 to 5am Friday 14 March, weather permitting, including:

• temporary right lane closures along the M7 Motorway in both directions near Bernera Road
• temporary closure of Bernera Road between Jedda Road and Yarrawa Street.

The detour route for heavy vehicles including Oversize Overmass (OSOM) under notice travelling on the M7 Motorway includes:

• northbound or at the Bernera Road southern roundabout via the M7 Motorway northbound, Cowpasture, Hoxton Park, Joadja and Jedda roads
• southbound or at the Bernera Road northern roundabout will be via the M7 Motorway southbound, Camden Valley Way, M7 Motorway northbound, and exit at Bernera Road off-ramp.

Vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in their permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).

The contingency date for this work is Friday 14 or Tuesday 18 March.
