NSW Traffic Alert: Newell Highway Closed Narrabri

The following information has been issued by Transport for NSW Freight Branch.

The Newell Highway at Narrabri is closed in both directions due to flooding.  

Diversion for light vehicles and B-Doubles, Coonabarabran to Tamworth via Gunnedah then New England Highway to Queensland.

For B-Triples and Road Trains diversion is Gilgandra to Walget to Queensland via the Castlereagh Highway.
