NSW: Transport for NSW Road Access Team operating arrangements over the holiday period

As we head into the festive holiday season, we wanted to let you know in advance about some changes to our operating arrangements, particularly in relation to NHVR access requests for restricted access heavy vehicles.

The Transport Road Access team will provide limited service over the holiday period. 

• Limited service: 22 – 24 December  

• Closed: 25 December – 4 January  

• Limited service: 5 – 11 January  

• Full operations resume: 12 January 

Please note that processing and response times for these access requests may be longer than usual during this period. 

For critically urgent access matters during this time, please contact the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator on 13 64 87 (13 NHVR).

For urgent road network matters, please contact the Regional Transport Operations Centre (RTOC) on 1300 228 847.
