Paid family and domestic violence leave – what to expect and when

Last week, the Federal Government introduced a bill to create a ‘universal’ entitlement to 10 days paid family and domestic violence (FDV) leave under the Fair Work. This entitlement would replace the existing entitlement to 5-days unpaid FDV leave and it extends to casuals employees. The following outlines what has been proposed and what it will likely mean for members.
