Road Conditions: Flinders Highway, Pentland Rail Overpass - Temporary width restrictions and reduced speed limit

From Tuesday 23 May to Sunday 28 May 2023, between 7am and 4.30pm each day, temporary width restrictions will be in place at Pentland Rail Overpass located approximately 144km west of Charters Towers.
Oversize vehicle and wide loads exceeding 3.0m in width cannot cross this structure during these times.
From Monday 22 May to Friday 2 June 2023, single lane operation will be in place with the speed limit reduced to 60km/h.
Please drive with caution and obey all signage.
