Detours will be in place for motorists on the western (Rifle Range Road) side of the interchange between 8pm to 5am on Friday, 6 September 2024 to Monday 9 September 2024

Restrictions will apply: 

  • Southbound off-ramp
  • Eastern Yawalpah Road /Attenborough Boulevard roundabout area
  • M1 overpass bridge, with no east and west connectivity 
  • Attenborough Boulevard and Yawalpah Road across the interchange to Rifle Range Road 

Heavy vehicle operators should follow alternative detour signage route via the local road network. 

Alternate routes and M1 exits: 

  • Access for heavy vehicles via Yatala (Exit 38) 
  • Access areas on the western side of the interchange form Old Pacific Highway and the local detour south to Coomera (Exit 54) and the interchange from Yawalpah Road to Rifle Range Road. Operators should seek an alternative route via the local road network. 


All roads on the western (Rifle Range Road) side of the interchange will remain open during the eastern closure.
