Road Conditions Update-QLD-Bne-Pacific Hwy-Rochedale 30/6-8/8/24

Intermittent lane closures on the M1 between Rochedale and Slacks Creek from Sunday 30 June to Thursday 8 August between 7pm and 5am. 

Over this six-week period, M1 traffic travelling north or south will be impacted while 8 overhead gantries are installed.

Motorists can expect changed night-time traffic conditions to include:

• M1 reduced to one lane.
• Speed reduced to 40 km/h.
• Intermittent traffic ‘stop and holds’ of up to 15 minutes in the late evening/early morning while overhead gantries are being installed over and alongside the M1.

Delays are expected during the roadworks, so please be patient, allow extra travel time, or seek an alternative route.
