FNQ-Gulf Development Road-CLOSED between Georgetown & Mt Surprise

The Gulf Developmental Road, between Georgetown and Mt Surprise at Routh Creek, is closed to all vehicles due to significant damage caused by intense rainfall and flash flooding currently impacting Far North Queensland. The road will remain closed for an extended period until the damage can be assessed and rectified. 

Further advice regarding the expected duration of this closure will be advised as soon as possible.
