Road Condtionss Update-NSW-Hampton-Closure of Jenolan Caves Road 18-24/2/24

Update from Transport for NSW 12/4/24

As part of the work to repair the Jenolan Caves Road, Hampton, there will be a series of closures of the Jenolan Canves Road between Old Bindo and Duckamloi roads, 7am to 5pm between 18-24/4/24

Further April road closure dates include:

·         Thursday 18 April

·         Friday 19 April

·         Monday 22 April

·         Tuesday 23 April

·         Wednesday 24 April

​​​​​​ A detour via Oberon, Bathurst and Lithgow using Duckmaloi Road, O'Connell Road and the Great Western Highway will be in place for all vehicles. Please allow an additional 1 hour 40 minutes travel time.

OSOM vehicles travelling under Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route. 

OSOM vehicles travelling under Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the Permit unless an updated Permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
