RTD Award coverage for On-Demand Delivery Drivers

On Friday 28 January 2022 the Fair Work Commission determined that delivery drivers engaged ‘on demand’ as employees are covered by the Road Transport and Distribution Award 2020. The determination came after submissions by Menulog that a new Modern Award should be created to cover said employees, a position opposed by the QTA and Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation (ARTIO).
