SEQ: Cunningham Highway, Purga - Upcoming road maintenance works

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) would like to advise road maintenance works will be undertaken on the Cunningham Highway, between Southern Amberley Road and Middle Road, Purga for two nights from the week commencing Sunday 30 November 2025, weather and construction conditions permitting.

To help minimise disruptions to the road network, works will be carried out from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday.

During the works temporary traffic changes including road shoulder and lane closures, roadworks speed limit reductions and short-term traffic disruptions may be required. Please allow extra time when planning your travel and follow the directions of roadside signage and traffic controllers. Nearby residents and businesses can expect some increased noise, dust and odour.
