The Department of Transport and Main Roads will be conducting pavement resurfacing works on the eastbound and westbound entry ramps from Lytton Road and Paringa Road intersection onto the Port of Brisbane Motorway, Murarrie in early July 2025. These works are being undertaken to improve the road surface for all users.

While the works are underway traffic detours will be in place to allow temporary ramp closures. Please follow directions of roadside signage and traffic controllers.

Works will include:

  • Removal and replacement of asphalt.
  • Installation of temporary line marking.
  • Installation of permanent line marking approximately six weeks after the completion of road resurfacing.

Timing

  • Commencing early July 2025 for approximately two weeks.
  • Construction hours will be from 8pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday.

What to expect

  • Temporary ramp closures will be required:
  • Lytton Road east and westbound entry ramps onto the Port of Brisbane Motorway, Murarrie.
  • Port of Brisbane Motorway between Lytton Road and the Gateway Motorway, Murarrie.
