SEQ: Ralston Bridge Closure Running Creek Road

Motorists are advised the bridge maintenance works are continuing on Ralston Bridge, Running Creek Road at Running Creek.

Due to upcoming asphalt works, the bridge will be closed to all motorists for one night shift, on Sunday 7 December 2025 from 5pm to 6am.

A detour will be in place (see below image) via Innisplain Road and Mount Lindesay Highway for motorists travelling westbound to Rathdowney. 

Emergency and Heavy Vehicles will also be required to detour during these hours.

Please follow all traffic control signage for the safety of workers and motorists. 

These bridge maintenance works are expected to be complete by 15 December 2025.

Changed traffic conditions include reduced speed limits, lane closures and stop/slow traffic control. Impacts will be minimised where possible. Please follow all directions from traffic control and drive carefully. Motorists may experience delays up to 10 minutes throughout these works; allow for extra travel time.

Weather, site, and contractor conditions can impact works, delaying start and finishing times.
