The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises of a single lane closure during September on Scrubby Creek Bridge, Mount Lindesay Highway due to asphalt works.

During the time of the works portable traffic lights will be implemented along with a speed reduction of 40km/hr with a width restriction of 3.0m.

The lane closure will only be in place whilst the works are undertaken.

Dates of the works

  • Please note the dates of the works have been postponed due to the weather and will be undertaken weather permitting from Friday 26 September.
  • Please refer to QLDTraffic for all future updates and times of the works.

Outside of work hours the bridge will be open to two-way standard traffic with the 40km/hr speed reduction in place.
