SWQ: Cunningham Highway - Cunninghams Gap between Mount Edwards and Tregony

On the Cunningham Highway at Cunninghams Gap, from 6pm until 6am on Wednesday 15 October 2025, single-lane traffic conditions will be in place for linemarking.

A reduced speed limit of 40km/hr will be in place for the safety of road users and work crews.

Oversize Overmass (OSOM) heavy vehicle/ combinations must check the Conditions of Operation Database before starting your journey.

Weather or site conditions can impact works, delaying start and finish schedules.

Reconstruction works on the Cunningham Highway at Cunninghams Gap are part of the Natural Disaster Program for the South Coast Region.  The recovery works are jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
