Traffic Impacts - AirportLink M7 - Rescheduled

Roadworks advice from Transurban

AirportlinkM7 – On-ramp resurfacing

All road pavements need to be replaced overtime, that’s why we’re resurfacing some of AirportlinkM7’s on-ramps to ensure motorists continue to experience a safe and efficient journey.

We’ll try to minimise disruption to motorists so you can still get where you’re going – but change to your travel is going to be required during this work.

Be assured, we’re doing all we can to avoid disrupting your travel – and we’ll have the ramps back in action as quickly as we can. We thank you for your understanding as we complete this necessary work.

Traffic changes
To get these works done quickly and safely, there’ll be changed traffic conditions including ramp closures. Traffic changes include:

  • AirportlinkM7 Inner City Bypass northbound on-ramp closure: Sunday 18 September 2022, 5am to 10pm
  • AirportlinkM7 Campbell Street northbound on-ramp closure: Sunday 18 September 2022, 5am to 10pm.

The AirportlinkM7 tunnel and all other ramps will remain open during these works.

If weather stops us from working, we’ll continue on the next available shift.

Construction activity
During the works you should expect:

  • full day closure of AirportlinkM7 Inner City Bypass northbound on-ramp and Campbell Street on-ramp
  • reduced speed limits and other road safety measures
  • increased noise and lighting coming from the construction area
  • workers, vehicles and equipment moving in and around the construction area.
