Road Conditions Update-QLD-Mackay to Capella (due to Peak Downs Hwy Closure at Caval Ridge O'pass)

ACCESS CONDITIONS-QLD-MACKAY-CAPELLA

While the Peak Downs Hwy is closed at Caval Ridge Overpass, operators are reminded of the Access conditions on the bypass routes.

Friendly reminder for B-Doubles and Type 1 Road Trains travelling via the bypass roads while the Peak Downs is closed at Caval Ridge Overpass.

Travelling via the Beef Road to Middlemount and out to Capella is the gazetted route.

There is section of road between near Tieri to Middlemount that is a Council owned road not currently highlighted on the NHVR Map as a green road approved for Type 1 road train access. NHVR have verified that it is approved in the Gazetted route for Type 1 road trains as it is in the green shaded area.

Permit Required - There a section of Dysart Clermont Road heading into Dysart that is not gazetted and requires a permit (see map in comments)
