Speakers from diverse industry backgrounds will discuss the tools and techniques that help to challenge, empower and change workplace culture, not just at the organisational level but on the individual level too. Key topics will include supporting mental health, gender neutral workplaces and the impact of language considerations in team environments. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been felt far and wide, with the family/work narrative being continuously challenged.

You will get to have your say, as will have breakout sessions, group conversations, engaging panel discussions, with Q&A after each presentation!

The Summit will take place on Thursday 10 June 2021 at the Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm, QLD.

    ITS Australia Mobility 2021

Mobility as a Service, Demand Responsive Transport, Mobility on Demand. . . no matter what you call it or how you describe it, transport innovation is coming.

In a COVID-19 world, we see more immediate challenges and opportunities. Cities are taking the current circumstances as an opportunity to redesign their mobility services to better support community needs. At the same time, we see a culture shift taking place, with regions going from a position of regulate-as-we-go to looking at what can be done now to forward plan. Are we on the cusp of a perfect storm, or in it already?

Whether it’s service innovation, data activation or analysis, new technologies or pilots, products or deployments - Mobility 2021 is the industry event to share, learn and engage. Join us as we bring together the Mobility community to explore how the industry can cooperate in the marketplace, overcome trust issues and work together equitably to enable better choices.

The hybrid event will take place on 1-2 September 2021 at the Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne, VIC.

    Driving Better Health

The Driving Better Health Project will:

Increase driver health awareness - Addressing driver health produces many benefits such as improved safety performance, increased productivity, reduced absenteeism and worker retention. Educating drivers on positive behaviours for their health and the link to chronic illness contributes to behavioural change.

Provide driver health assessments - Implementing health and wellness strategies that focus on improving health risks will lead to increased productivity and better workplace health and safety performance.

Promote the ability to replicate the project delivery model – Similar health assessments able to be delivered across other states and jurisdictions and sharing the project outcomes will further highlight the need for programs to address this critical issue in the transport industry.

The Heart Health Convoy will visit 12 locations and provide up to 400 health assessments. The project relies on a mobile clinic providing health assessments, which will address key conditions including:

    • Nutrition
    • Movement and Fitness
    • Psychological Health
    • Sleep
    • Alcohol and Smoking
    • Social Health
    • Blood pressure
    • Body composition
    • Respiratory function
    • Metabolic risks (diabetes, liver function, lipid profile and kidney function)

A clinic will be held at a transport depot in the Brisbane area in September 2021 (location and date to be confirmed).

Register your interest and we will send you more information when the date and location has been confirmed.

    Megatrans 2021

In 2020, COVID-19 brought challenges and disruption, not least of all to the global and domestic supply chain. While whole industries were shut down and businesses were forced to pivot their model of operation, the supply chain was presented with not just challenges but opportunities. Businesses had to reimagine the way they met supply demand and customer expectations, and in a safe way.

MEGATRANS2021 is perfectly timed to be the leading platform for industry to once again come together in this reimagining of the supply chain. As one of the first trade expos in the post-COVID recovery phase, MEGATRANS will be essential in re-establishing face-to-face relationships, connecting people to people and business to business, while showcasing solutions that will help the supply chain adapt to situations such as COVID in the future.

MEGATRANS returns in 2021 as an important industry event, facilitating cross-industry collaboration in a multidimensional and integrated conference and exhibition for the freight and logistics industry.

For the first time, MEGATRANS will take place in conjunction with the specialised bulk handling expo, Australian Bulk Handling Expo 2021. The two events will be held side-by-side, with one ticket entry into both exhibitions.

MEGATRANS will showcase the latest in artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, automated racking, telematics and route optimisation, warehouse automation, intelligent fleet systems, blockchain, Internet of Things, big data and advanced analytics.

The event will take place from 8-10 September 2021 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, VIC.
