    DigiT&L Futures Excel Training

    DIGIT&L FUTURES (Excel Skills) will provide support for existing workers in the transport and logistics industry (across all sectors) to upskill and build knowledge and competency in understanding Microsoft Excel (different levels of training available).  Training will be delivered across a number of locations by TAFE Queensland from February to August 2019.

    PRODUCE SPREADSHEETS - This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop spreadsheets through the use of spreadsheet software.

    This is an accredited unit and as such may be able to be credited towards achieving a full qualification such as Certificate III in Business.

    During this course, students will learn about formulas, charts, designing spreadsheets and layouts. It covers the following elements:

    • Select and prepare resources
    • Plan spreadsheet design
    • Create spreadsheet
    • Produce simple charts
    • Finalise spreadsheets

                NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

                Members and guests are hereby advised of the convening of the 43rd Annual General Meeting of the Queensland Trucking Association Ltd.


                All members/guests are eligible to attend the Annual General Meeting.  If you are a member and unable to attend the Annual General Meeting, please complete a Proxy Form and return to the QTA office no later than 5pm, Monday, 15th April 2019.

                NOMINATIONS ARE CALLED FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

                QTA is calling for nominations from members of the Association to join the Board of Directors for the 2019 year.  

                Rule 5.3 of the Constitution of the Queensland Trucking Association Ltd provides for a Board of Directors existing for the Management of the affairs of the Association.  The Board shall consist of, not less than 5, nor more than 15 Directors who shall include the President, Vice-President, Honorary Treasurer and Immediate Past President.

                QTA hereby call for nominations.  

                • Each nomination shall be in writing and signed by the nominated member, the proposer and seconder. 
                • The nominee, proposer and seconder must be financial members of the Association or an authorised representative of a financial corporate member of the Association
                • The nomination must be in the hands of the CEO of QTA Ltd at least 7 days before the Annual General Meeting (Rule 5.4 of the Constitution).  
                • Accordingly nominations should be in the hands of the CEO by COB Tuesday, 9th April 2019.

                To nominate for the Board, please complete the NOMINATION FORM and return to the QTA office fully completed by Tuesday 9th April 2019.

                                                  The QTA Platinum Partner Golf Day is one of two key events on the QTA Ltd Calendar that recognises the support our Platinum Partner companies provide to the Association and its members.   

                                                  This event is an enjoyable day commencing with registration from 8:30am.  The day will conclude by 4pm with a Meal and Presentations in the Grandview Room.
