QLD-SW-Rest Area Upgrades from 15/4/24

TMR are expecting to start work to replace the toilet facilities at two rest areas in the South West District from today Monday 15 April 2024, weather and conditions permitting.

Rest area toilet facilities for replacement are:

• Landsborough Highway (Augathella – Tambo), about 36km north of Augathella.
• Balonne Highway (Bollon - Cunnamulla), about 66km west of Bollon.

Please note that while these works are underway, these toilet facilities won't be available for use.

Works will be carried out during daylight hours, up to seven days a week, and are expected to be completed by mid-May 2024, weather and conditions permitting.
