CEO's Message

Over recent weeks the QTA has been advocating on behalf of some members who had been infringed with noise defects while their vehicles had been traversing the Tooowoomba Bypass. 

In response to our discussions with Government, a more reasonable approach has been adopted by TMR which is outlined Safety and Compliance section below.

I would reiterate that great care needs to be taken by members in any choices made about fitment of aftermarket exhausts as noise monitoring is likely to occur in various locations by authorities from time-to-time.

As the COVID situation is once again continuing to envolve, we will keep you informed as we receive updates.  We are in discussions with Ministers in relation to mobilsing more testing facilities as the frequency of testing intervals has increased in some States.
